Mango lassi, a drink favourite among many in the South East Asia is a mix between milkshake and smoothie with smooth, creamy and refreshing taste; a delight in the hot summer!
Ingredients
1 cup plain yogurt
1/2 cup milk
1 cup ripe mango (peeled, chopped and the hard crust removed)
2-4 teaspoon sugar (or honey)
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder (optional)
A few ice cubes
Method
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
Pour into a glass and serve.
The lassi can be kept refrigerated for up to 24 hours.
